Jeffrey T. Shaver Founding Partner
Under Jeffrey “Jeff” Shaver’s leadership, the firm has grown to more than $1.7 billion in total assets under advisement and has been honored as one of the Top 25 Money Managers two years in a row by Atlanta Business Chronicle.
He has been quoted in national publications including Registered Rep. and Financial Planning and has been featured in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. ACG Wealth has also been named Best Place to Work by Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Jeff started his career in the financial services industry in 1996. After several successful years and numerous awards from A. G. Edwards, Jeff joined regional brokerage firm Morgan Keegan and Co., where he rose to first vice president. He formed ACG Wealth with David Millican and Jody Young in 2002. Since that time the firm has either merged with or acquired more than a dozen similar firms with a client retention rate of more than 90 percent, a testament to Jeff’s hands-on approach to client services.
Jeff and his wife Jeannie have three children, sons Sennett and Preston and daughter Harper. The family attends Christ the King church. He serves on the board of the Buckhead Lions Club. Away from the office, Jeff enjoys attending his children’s sporting events and an occasional day on the links.
